Happy Fall! Here are some important updates and great upcoming programs you can register for FREE. Please take advantage of these opportunities!

IMPORTANT UPDATES

CPR Training (UPDATED DIRECTIONS):

REMEMBER: CPR training is accessible through Oregon CPR (and paid by Nurturely).

Registration directions:
Visit their website​

• Select the "Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers" Training
• On the calendar, select a date/time for "BLS for Healthcare Providers" that works for your schedule
  • After you select the date, you will be redirected to select the specific course type: select "BLS Only"
  • then, click "Register Now"
  • Fill out the form, at the end where they ask how you heard about them, select other and in the comment box, put Nurturely
• For payment, select "will pay cash" for the payment option.
  • Then in the comment area, add "Bill Nurturely"

Remember, your attendance is crucial. Please ensure that you attend the training you register for, arrive ten minutes before time, and stay for the entire duration. Oregon CPR does not offer refunds or reschedule training sessions.

OREGON CPR NO-SHOW POLICY:

To avoid a $55 no-show or cancellation fee, please review the following:

No refunds will be issued. You may reschedule your class for another class within 2 weeks of your original class if you contact us (Oregon CPR) at least 24 hours prior to your class date. If for some reason you do not attend the rescheduled class, you will have to sign up and pay for another class. If you fail to show or reschedule within 24 hours, you will be charged a $55 fee.

PayPal does not allow refunds, please make sure you are signing up for the right class and you are able to attend the class you signed up for. No refunds for any of our classes, especially our instructor classes, ACLS or PALS.

NURTURELY WILL NOT PAY FOR ANOTHER COURSE IF YOU ARE A NO SHOW. YOU WILL BE BILLED DIRECTLY THE NO SHOW FEE.

​If you completed doula training in September 2024 or earlier and do not have certification, please complete active CPR training by November 30, 2024.

In addition to the Thinkific course, we now have a BHub Community Page! All BHub members will be able to see upcoming events, and announcements, post their own questions/comments, etc.

Book Pickup

If you did your doula training in May this year and haven't stopped by the Lounge to pickup your books, please do so as soon as possible.

You can stop Monday through Thursday 10-5pm ( 56 E 15th Av., Eugene, 97401)

ODA Application:

Nurturely has prepaid for you to have a 1 year membership with ODA (Oregon Doula Association )

You will be able to access a lot of resources including 1:1 THW application support

Please start your own profile. ( It will prompt you to make a payment, but you don't need to submit payment)

One on One Mentorship

We’re excited to offer in-person, one-on-one mentorship with Jasmine and Danita to help you navigate the THW certification process and access valuable resources. Whether you need guidance on certification steps or support in finding the right tools, they are here to assist you every step of the way.

Upcoming Doula Connection

Join us for our monthly Doula Cohort Connect, Monday October 2nd 5:30pm at our Nuturely Lounge!, a vibrant gathering where you can reconnect with doulas you met during your training, share experiences, and learn from each other.

We will go over the Thinkific platform and answer questions/ doubts you might have about the steps for THW certification/ completing your training

For the rest of 2024, the primary focus will be to help you complete the other THW requirements. Please bring your laptop (if possible) and come with questions or needs you may have!

Milk Magic for Professionals (in person)

Join us at the Nurturely Lounge ( 56 E 15th Avenue, Eugene, OR, 97401 on Saturday, October 12th, 10am -5pm for an in person session of our Lactation Education course, Milk Magic.

The Milk Magic Educator Program was developed to mobilize breastfeeding advocates and enthusiasts through instant access to the tools needed to provide comprehensive and culturally appropriate breastfeeding education and support in your own community. The program was motivated by the recognition of the many systemic barriers to lactation education and support in the Black and Indigenous communities.

This is a great tool to add to your doula belt!!
