Dear Reader,

Whether you're a birthworker looking to expand your skills, a parent or caregiver seeking support, or simply wanting to connect with nature and other families, we have something for everyone. From hands-on workshops and training sessions to peaceful gatherings and outdoor adventures, our fall programming is designed to foster connection, learning, and holistic well-being. Join us in building stronger communities and supporting each other through every stage of the parenting journey!
LOCAL PROGRAMS
Dads and Partners Meetup
This is a weekly casual drop-in for dads and partners to talk dad stuff, commiserate, share and bounce ideas, or just chop it up with non-dad stuff. Decompress from your day, bring the kid, come alone, come as you are, whatevs. Super casual, there might be snacks and drinks from time to time.
The Milk Magic Educator Program was developed to mobilize breastfeeding advocates and enthusiasts through instant access to the tools needed to provide comprehensive and culturally appropriate breastfeeding education and support in your own community.
Carry your baby while enjoying nature and connecting with other parents!
Dazzling Decomposers! From mushrooms to millipedes, decomposers are a crucial component to our ecosystems. Together we will find out more about these helpful recyclers. Meet us at the Education Building for a parking pass before we walk the trails.
The purpose of this workshop is to inspire expecting families to cultivate birthing support and preferences in alignment with their highest values.
The curriculum covers risks and benefits of common interventions, how to practice informed consent, and how to create a respectful, safe and supportive birth team.
Aerie Sanctuary: Support group for global majority parents
Join us at our NEW Aerie Sanctuary, a haven designed to nurture connections and foster solidarity among parents. This program offers a safe space where you can share the unique journey of raising children with others who understand and support you.
At Aerie Sanctuary, we celebrate the richness of our diverse backgrounds, amplify our collective wisdom, and embrace both the joys and challenges of parenthood together. Let’s navigate the complexities of raising children with confidence and resilience.
Join us for our Milk Magic Meetup, a supportive space designed to celebrate the art and science of breast/chestfeeding. Guided by our Milk Magic curriculum, we embark on a journey of discovery, learning, and empowerment as we explore the wonders of lactation. Our meetup offers a safe space to share experiences, seek guidance, and build connections with others on the chestfeeding journey. Whether you’re seeking reassurance, troubleshooting challenges, or simply craving camaraderie, our Nurturely Lounge provides the perfect environment to nourish both body and soul as we navigate the beautiful complexities of chestfeeding together.
Tuesday October 22nd, 5:30 pm at the Nurturely Lounge
Step into the vibrant world of Cultural Story Time, where you'll be transported through the rich tales and memories of the African Diaspora. Led by Eric Richardson, a passionate student of African history and jazz aficionado, each session promises to be an uplifting journey of storytelling and music. Raising five youth of his own alongside his wife Tamara, Eric aims to spread the joy of African-themed literature throughout the community. Join us for an enriching experience that celebrates the beauty of African culture and storytelling!
Saturday October 26th at 10am, at the Nurturely Lounge
